PETCORE EUROPE in partnership with the Circular Economy Coalition in Romania (CERC) invites you to attend a physical event “Circular Economy Coalition bridges the PET value chain between Eastern, Central and Western Europe”.

This event marks our first gathering in Bucharest, where we will be joined by PET packaging experts from across the entire PET value chain in Central and Eastern Europe. The registration will be available shortly.

The conference will take place at the Grand Hotel Bucharest, Rapsodia Hall, 4 Nicolae Balcescu Blvd, 010051 Bucharest, Romania. We are honoured to announce our keynote speakers:

  • Nicolae Ștefănuță - Vice-President of the European Parliament since July 2024.
  • Mircea Fechet - Romanian Minister of Environment.

The objective of this roadshow is to share the main activities carried on in Brussels to allow the PET business, both PET packaging and textile,  to grow while implementing the Circular Economy and to define with the attendees the main priorities in the region.

Building collaboration within PETCORE EUROPE’s PET value chain across Central, Eastern and Western Europe requires a multi-faceted approach that includes regulatory alignment, deep technical expertise and infrastructure development. By focusing on these areas, PETCORE EUROPE and its members can move faster towards a truly circular economy and support all regions by benefiting from this collaboration.
