On 24 and 25 April experts from the plastics recycling industry met in the RAI in Amsterdam for the Plastics Recycling Show Europe 2018. As value chain association and official conference supporterPetcore Europe could of course not miss the event.
On day one an entire session was dedicated to the latest developments within the PET recycling sector. The speakers of the session focused among other topics on PET trays recycling and the pioneer water marking project whose aim is to improve sorting.
Even though PET was not the priority of the second day of the event, John Standish, Technical Director of The Association of Plastics Recyclers shared the organisations experience with PET packaging in the US (see picture). Another highlight of day two was the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe ceremony.
All in all the event was a full success bringing together the entire plastics recycling industry. For further information please visit the event website.
