General NIAS Project (GENI), aims to deploy an industry-wide monitoring of NIAS and Contaminants in food contact packaging. By collecting representative data sets, risk assessing any found NIAS and contaminants, identifying their source and giving recommendations on minimising it, the GENI project will support the highest standards for food safety. GENI relies on the expertise of the NIAS WG members and the analytical methods developed by the Lab Cluster.
