ANA FERNÁNDEZ
KLÖCKNER PENTAPLAST
Ana Fernández Lavandero holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Zaragoza and has more than 35 years of experience in the manufacture of plastic packaging. She has developed practically her entire career in different technical positions at the multinational Klöckner Pentaplast. As global Director of Innovation of the food packaging division, she has contributed to the development of the company's sustainability plan, paying special attention to projects related to improving recyclability and the use of post-consumer recycled materials in the manufacture of packaging for direct contact with food. She is a member of several industry associations and actively collaborates with PETCORE EUROPE leading the thermoforming working group.
