Join us for the presentation of the EU-funded Polymark project completion and gain an insight into a new technology enabling the identification and sorting of polymers, including PET, in the high-value plastics waste stream.

The event will take place on 15 March 2017, 10.00 - 12.30, at the Petcore Europe offices in Brussels (Avenue de Cortenbergh 71, 1000 Brussels), followed by a networking lunch.

Petcore Europe has established its PET Thermoforms Working Group in June 2015, following a Workshop on Recycling PET Thermoforms in March 2015. It comprises 40 companies and organisations including key players from industry and waste management. The goal is to increase the market share of PET in thermoforms in Europe by providing sustainable and reliable end-of-life solutions for their effective recycling.

The organisers of the PRS Europe event, Crain Communications Ltd and the Plastics Recyclers Europe Association, are pleased to announce the return of PRS Europe. The show will take place at the RAI in Amsterdam on the 29 - 30 March 2017.

The Plastics Recycling Show (PRS) will feature a pan European exhibition and conference stream designed specifically for the plastics recycling industry. The event will bring together key players from the plastics and recycling sectors in order to learn, network and capitalise on the business opportunities plastic recycling offers.

Petcore Europe invites to its ODR Workshop on Opaque and Difficult to Recycle PET Containers taking place on 2 February 2017 in Brussels, one day after the Petcore Europe Conference 2017. This Workshop is reserved for industry practitioners.

We are delighted to welcome Hordijk Verpakkingen as new member to our association.

For decades Hordijk Verpakkingen has designed and produced plastic packaging for the various national and international company branches and has specialised in the packaging for food products and personal care products. The organisation has two production plants: a thermoform plant in Zaandam and an injection moulding and extrusion blow moulding plant in Zevenhuizen.

Casper van den Dungen, Managing Director of Poly Recycling, accepted his appointment as Petcore Europe Vice President. He is also Vice President of the Plastics Recyclers Europe and Chairman of their PET Working Group. Within Petcore Europe, he holds the position of TC Chairman and is also Board member.
